Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, under supervision. You’ll support drivers, service state‑of‑the‑art vehicles, and advance your skills through ongoing training.

Basic knowledge of vehicle systems is required; 1–3 years of experience is typical. A valid driver’s license is preferred, and there are clear career paths with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASe T8 PM certification is a plus but not required.
• 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of a vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repairs.
• Performs oil changes, fluids replenishment, tire changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work.
• Completes company training programs and performs other duties as assigned.
