Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Ohio offers a Diesel Apprentices program designed to teach drivers basic diagnostics and maintenance while you gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, learning systems diagnostics and repair basics.

The program trains you in electrical, HVAC, air systems, and wheel-end diagnostics, with paid tuition assistance, safety-first policies, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide company.

Qualifications

• Apprentices learn electrical diagnostics, HVAC, wheel end, air systems, air brakes, charging system, basic computer diagnostics and parts lookup.
• Must be able to move, lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
• Rotating day/night shifts; safety and customer satisfaction priorities.
• DOT medical card obtainable paid by Love’s.

Responsibilities

• Earn $17.50 - $25.00 p/hr.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
• Rotate between day and night shifts.
