Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops invites applicants to join our Diesel Apprentices program, a fast-paced role where you’ll work with customers and drivers to keep journeys on track. No professional experience is needed—we’ll teach you the fundamentals and safety practices required for diesel diagnostics and maintenance.

You’ll learn electrical and HVAC diagnostics, wheel end and air system repairs, and basic computer diagnostics while progressing toward certification.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn hands-on automotive/diesel skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
