Job summary

Love's Travel Stops offers a Diesel Apprentices program in a fast-paced environment, serving customers and drivers. You’ll learn mechanics basics while earning hourly pay and gaining safety-driven experience.

The program teaches electrical, HVAC, wheel-end, air, charging system diagnostics, and more. Candidates should be able to lift 75+ pounds and rotate day/night shifts; tuition assistance is company-funded.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn diagnostic tasks.
• Strong customer-service mindset for interactions with drivers and customers.
• Willing to learn and follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Earn 17.50–25.00 USD per hour as part of the apprentice program.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess the ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
