Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores in Houston, TX is seeking Diesel Apprentices to join a fast-paced team where you’ll interact with customers and drivers, keep facilities clean, and learn through hands-on instruction provided by the company.

In the apprenticeship, you’ll study electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning diagnostics and repairs, wheel end diagnostics and repairs, and basic computer diagnostics while performing preventative maintenance; you’ll rotate day and night

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
