Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Apprentices to learn electrical and mechanical diagnostics while assisting customers with roadside services. No prior professional experience required; extensive on-the-job training will be provided to develop mechanical skills and customer service abilities.

In this role, you will perform diagnostics, learn HVAC, wheel-end, air systems, and basic computer diagnostics, while supporting preparations for maintenance tasks and ensuring safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in diesel systems and automotive repair.
• Ability to work with customers and drivers from varied backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Learn preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in various temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
