Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our team in a hands-on role repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose issues, communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor, and execute repairs safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or trade school completed.
• Willingness to expand knowledge via education and training programs.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic testing and develop repair plans; communicate to Service Advisor.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and electrical/mechanical systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend other TA services during inspections with customers.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees.
