Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is offering a Diesel Apprenticeship Program in Wisconsin. This full‑time on‑site role provides hands-on training for diesel diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You’ll interact with customers and drivers, learn safety procedures, and rotate day/night shifts.

No professional experience required—we will teach you. After program start, you can pursue a medical card through DOT, paid by Love’s. Join a team that values growth, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Mechanical incline with no professional experience welcome; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters; work in various temperatures
• Always put safety and customer satisfaction first, complying with safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Diesel Apprentices work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. Are you mechanically inclined with no professional experience? No problem!We will teach you!

In The Apprentice Program, You Can Expect To Learn:

• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs
• Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
• Air system diagnostics and repairs
• Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
• Charging system diagnostics and repairs
• Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
• Parts lookup and acquisition

Job Functions:

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Learn preventative maintenance services
