Job Description: Diesel Apprentice at Love’s

Join Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores as a Diesel Apprentice! In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities and providing friendly service. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, helping make their travels better. No professional experience? No problem! We will teach you everything you need to know.

What You Will Learn:

1. Electrical diagnostics and repairs
2. Air conditioning & heating diagnostics and repairs
3. Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
4. Air system diagnostics and repairs
5. Air brakes diagnostics and repairs
6. Charging system diagnostics and repairs
7. Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
8. Parts lookup and acquisition

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers with roadside services
2. Learn preventative maintenance services
3. Work in close quarters, lifting 75+ pounds, and in various temperatures
4. Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction, following company policies
5. Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed
6. Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
