CDL-A preferred and routes requiring a DOT/drive requirement may apply. The candidate will perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles, conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and customer communications, while adhering to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Follows safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.
• Performs other support duties to aid operations.
