Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Sharonville, Ohio, is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician for on-site work on heavy-duty vehicles. Second shift 2:00 pm–10:30 pm with weekend off and weekly pay. On-the-job training and PPE provided.

Eligible candidates with basic tools and a willingness to learn can start with no experience; CDL within 6 months is encouraged. Certification bonuses and performance incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Must meet essential requirements listed in the job posting.
• On-the-job paid training provided.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems and uses diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
