Job summary

Penske is seeking a detail-oriented Technician for the White Deer, PA location on 2nd shift (Mon–Fri 3:00pm–11:30pm). You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske’s tools and certification training to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

You’ll work with experienced supervisors to learn maintenance processes and gain industry-standard skills, with strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and career growth within a clean, well-equipped shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance repairs and component lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
