Job summary

PITT OHIO is seeking a Diesel Technician on 2nd shift at our Phoenixville, PA location to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet equipment. The role requires formal training or two years of verifiable diesel/truck maintenance experience and the ability to pass required screenings.

Qualifications

• Two years' verifiable experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair or a technical school degree.
• A valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• CDL, ASE and state/federal inspection certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Informs management about unsafe conditions and suggests corrective actions.
• Completes work orders accurately and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Operates and inspects equipment to diagnose defects and performs maintenance.
• Dismantles and reassembles equipment and records labor and parts.
• Travel to other shop locations as needed and perform duties as assigned.
