  • Hourly Pay: $27.84 per hour
  • Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 four times per year

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Vocational or technical certifications (preferred)
  • Basic tools required
  • Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance
  • At least 2 years of related experience or training (preferred)
  • Valid CDL Class A (preferred)

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become an employee, you must:

  • Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
  • Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background, and motor vehicle checks

Note: Additional requirements may vary by location.

Responsibilities
  • Vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Component inspections and repairs
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose mechanical/electronic issues using diagnostic tools
  • Identify root causes and perform repairs
  • Replace defective components
  • Facility maintenance
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
  • Use Shop Management System and documentation
  • Follow safety and compliance guidelines
  • Support operations as needed
