Amerit Fleet Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Diesel Technician to repair and maintain light and medium duty fleet vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits after 30 days, with a Tue-Sat shift 1:00pm–9:30pm.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of vehicle maintenance experience or a diesel technology diploma, and must have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance or possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine proper operation
• Must provide own hand tools & toolbox

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehicles
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
• Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
• Maintain general upkeep and maintenance of Mobile Service Truck
• Respond to off-site client requests as needed
• Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary
• Perform other duties as required

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Diesel Technician in Indianapolis, IN! The Diesel Technician is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of light and medium duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $35-42 Hour based on interview

Shift- Tuesday-Saturday 1:00pm-9:30pm
