Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform routine maintenance and repair on vehicles, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components. You will also assist customers with roadside services and ensure safety and quality in every interaction.

The role requires the ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and complete preventative maintenance tasks. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

• Assist customers with roadside services and support.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Work in various temperatures
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per company policies
• Work rotating day/night shifts
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
