Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires the ability to move heavy loads and work in changing temperatures while following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters
• Work in varying temperatures
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies
• Rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Obtain a Department of Transportation medical card (paid by Love's)

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
