Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, ranging from wheel-end assemblies to electrical systems and engine components. You will interact with customers and drivers, ensuring safety and timely service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel technician or vehicle technician is preferred.
• Familiar with truck or trailer systems and common repair workflows.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services and vehicle support.
• Provide preventative maintenance services to keep trucks on the road.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
