We have an immediate opening for a Diesel Technician at our Freightliner of Harrisburg dealership in Harrisburg, PA. Salary ranges from $40,000 to $100,000 per year.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Own hand tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License
• Heavy Duty truck experience
• Technical training or equivalent experience

Technician Duties

• Determine cause of malfunction using troubleshooting guides, test drives, or manuals
• Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories
• Perform labor operations using recommended procedures, tools, and equipment
• Document work and technical information
• Note additional work needed and obtain approval
• Clean parts and keep customer vehicles clean
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Order parts and return cores timely
• Perform repairs efficiently according to manufacturer standards
