Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Gotha, FL is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventive maintenance for customers and drivers on the go.

The role includes lifting up to 75 pounds, rotating day/night shifts, and the potential to obtain a DOT medical card. Love’s offers tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) match, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters; work in varying temperatures
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while following safety policies
• Work a rotating schedule with day/night shifts as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
