Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians in Renner, SD. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with light mechanical repair and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule (day and night).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
