Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. We offer tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) match, and health coverage after 30 days.

You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance while upholding safety policies. The role requires the ability to lift 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures, with rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with light mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspensions, A/C, engine)
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work rotating day/night shifts
• Obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love's)

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
