Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Florida is seeking Diesel Technicians to join a fast-paced team. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and provide preventive maintenance. The job requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Diesel Technicians: troubleshooting and repair of light mechanical issues.
• Customer service with roadside assistance
• Preventative maintenance experience
• Physical ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by employer)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
