Job summary

DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time Technician at its Falmouth, ME location to diagnose and repair a range of commercial vehicles, including buses and trucks. The role emphasizes quality workmanship, warranty repair adherence, and accurate repair orders along with clear communication with customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or technical training, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or eligible), and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical school or equivalent.
• Training or experience in automotive, truck or bus repair.
• Driver's license.
• Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license.
• Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications.
• Adequate English verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
• Executes efficient and accurate repairs on a variety of vehicles, including buses, trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
• Performs warranty repair work as directed by manufacturer guidelines and warranty policies.
• Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage.
• Collaborates with the service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Owns and maintains the proper tools to perform job functions
• Follows instructions of foreman or supervisor.
