Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring clean facilities and friendly service for customers and drivers. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support roadside services while upholding safety standards.

The role requires physical ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in varied temperatures, and operate on a rotating day/night schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters; tolerate varying temperatures
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and maintain customer satisfaction

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
