Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean locations and serving customers and drivers on the road.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support roadside services while following safety policies. Love’s offers tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds.
• Able to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
