Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Diesel Technician in Texas to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance to keep fleets moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing light mechanical issues on vehicles.
• Ability to assist customers with roadside services.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to rotate day/night shifts and obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
