Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to join a fast-paced team, performing diagnostic work, light repairs, and preventative maintenance on customer vehicles and equipment. You will assist drivers and customers, ensuring safe, reliable service in a busy travel stop environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Willingness to work a rotating day/night schedule
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Support safety policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
• Interact with customers and drivers from diverse locations to improve their travel experiences
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced setting
• Participate in rotating schedules that include day and night shifts as needed

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
