Pay Range: $26- $30/hour (based on skills/experience). Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30am - 4:30/5:00pm.

This organization produces specialized equipment used across sectors such as utilities, telecommunications, infrastructure, and fleet services. We are seeking an experienced Diesel‑Service Technician to join a growing/dynamic team! This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, heavy equipment, and related vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

This is a hands‑on position in a fast‑paced environment, working closely with a small team to complete high‑quality repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Document maintenance and repair work
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Welding experience (experience accepted in lieu of certification(s))
• Ability to use heavy hand and power tools effectively/efficiently
• Experience with diagnostic and testing equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working/thriving in a small team environment
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Comfortable in a manufacturing/shop environment (heat, cold, noise, etc.)
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
