Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and assist drivers and customers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires physical work, lifting 75+ pounds, and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with light mechanical repairs is preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to safety policies.
• Ability to assist customers and drivers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work rotating day and night shifts as needed.

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel‑end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
