Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Oregon is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our fast-paced team, maintaining clean facilities and assisting drivers.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide roadside services while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters; tolerate various temperatures
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per safety policies
• Work a rotating day/night schedule
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components

• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
