Job summary

ACTS Fleet Maintenance in Knoxville, TN is seeking experienced diesel technicians who take pride in their craft and want a shop where performance, structure, and respect align. You’ll work on medium and heavy‑duty trucks, in shop or in the field, with a focus on uptime and safety.

The position offers a pay range per hour, weekly pay, 3‑day weekends every other week, paid OEM training, modern facilities, and comprehensive benefits including health, retirement match, and uniforms.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience as a medium/heavy-duty diesel technician.
Advanced proficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical troubleshooting.
Capability to work independently and follow structured shop processes.
Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics: Reading fault codes and analyzing data on late-model trucks using OEM and aftermarket scan tools.
System Repairs: Diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, drivelines, and transmissions.
Electrical & Emissions: Troubleshooting complex electrical systems and emissions components.
Preventative Maintenance: Conducting rigorous DOT inspections, fluid changes, and brake checks.
Field Ownership: Representing ACTS Fleet professionally while diagnosing and repairing equipment directly on-site.
