Job summary

Lanier Technical College – Hall County campus is seeking a full-time, salaried Diesel Equipment Technology Instructor for the Hall campus and LCCA sites. The role reports to the Dean of Applied Technology & Transportation and offers a competitive mid-70s salary with potential adjustments based on education and qualifications.

The instructor will develop course outlines, prepare lesson plans, maintain certification requirements, and assist with recruitment and program administration.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Diesel Equipment Technology or closely related field.
• Three years relevant work experience in diesel equipment technology.
• Credentialing to satisfy accrediting bodies for the courses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses for Lanier Technical College Diesel program at Hall campus/LCCA.
• Develop outlines, goals, and objectives for courses.
• Prepare lesson plans and syllabi meeting program objectives.
• Evaluate student progress toward goals and objectives.
• Maintain documentation and administrative reports; ensure safety standards.
• Assist with program recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
