You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, ensuring vehicles remain safe and roadworthy for customers. You’ll use Penske tools and diagnostics, with on‑the‑job coaching from experienced technicians.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outdoors.
• Basic computer skills.
• DOT/OSHA safety policies must be understood and followed.

Responsabilidades

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system work on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Partner with manager to learn new skills through Penske’s training and coaching.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
