Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a motivated technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components in our service centers in Dansville, NY. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and candidates must bring their own tools and a willingness to expand their knowledge through training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or manufacturer's tech training is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and participate in education/training programs to grow as a technician.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide great service by meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Perform diagnostic testing, interpret results, and develop repair plans with the Service Advisor.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and electrical/mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend TA services during inspection reviews.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees.
