The ideal candidate brings five years of full-time related experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and two active ASE certifications (one in electrical systems).

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time, related occupational experience.
• Associate’s degree in the teaching field OR a combination of education, certifications, and substantial experience in the occupational field.
• Two active, unexpired ASE certifications.
• One certification must be in electrical systems.
• The other must be in the subject matter being taught.
• All academic degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions.
• Applicants without an associate’s degree in the field must demonstrate additional, relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with course outcomes and program standards.
• Relate basic principles of diesel technology to students with diverse educational and occupational backgrounds.
• Incorporate instructional technology effectively into coursework.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain industry credentials and participate in professional development as required.
