Job summary

Red Classic is seeking a Lead Diesel Maintenance Technician for the Greensboro, NC location. The role focuses on leading diesel engine maintenance, diagnostics, and team coordination. Expect to work the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, with competitive pay and benefits.

Candidates should have extensive diesel engine knowledge, strong troubleshooting abilities, and solid computer/system proficiency. A safety-minded leader will drive quality repairs and team performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of medium to heavy-duty diesel truck engines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead diesel maintenance tasks on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines and related systems.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure safety, quality, and timely repairs.

Pay Based on Experience starting at $30+/hr

• Diesel Maintenance Lead Technician : 1st shift: Mon - Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of medium to heavy duty diesel truck engines, possess high level diagnostic /troubleshooting skills, an understanding of how internal combustion gas and diesel engines work, as well as able to identify main components. Must possess computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite & other internal systems), strong communication and problem-solving skills and strong training and team facilitation skills.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Class A/B License preferred for some positions
• DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification
• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Clean driving record
