Job summary

Qualifications

  • Six (6) full-time years of paid Heavy-Duty Diesel Systems experience.
  • OR Four (4) full-time years of paid diesel work experience and Associate of Applied (AAS) degree.
  • OR Two (2) full-time years of paid diesel work experience and Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related field.
  • Two (2) years of post-secondary teaching experience in Diesel Systems Technology or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Advise/teach adjunct Diesel Systems Technology courses leading to certificates and/or an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) Degree.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the theory and practice of Diesel Systems Technology.
  • Maintain professional and collegial behavior and respond to student inquiries promptly.
  • Be familiar with Cummins TAP program requirements and assist with registration and graduation.
  • Provide appropriate and timely feedback and submit grades by deadlines.
