Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a skilled, full-time Diesel Mechanic with preferred snowplow experience to maintain and repair trucks, diesel equipment, and snow removal machinery across field and shop environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep equipment in top condition for reliable operations. A CN or CDL is preferred and overtime may be required during snow events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Technical education in mechanics preferred.
• Welding experience required; ability to travel locally for field service calls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline trucks and snow removal equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime during snow events.
• Repair hydraulic and electrical systems, including plows and salt spreaders.
• Conduct emergency field service repairs during snow operations.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and modifications to equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety requirements.
• Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean and safe.
