Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a skilled full-time Diesel Mechanic with snowplow experience to maintain and repair trucks, diesel equipment, and snow removal machinery.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to keep equipment in top condition for reliable operations and to travel locally for field service calls. Must supply own tools; overtime and on-call shifts during snow events may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical educational training in mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and snow removal equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime during snow events.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and electrical systems, including plows, salt spreaders, and related attachments.
• Conduct emergency field service repairs as needed during snow operations.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and modifications to equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety requirements.
