Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a skilled, full-time Diesel Mechanic with snowplow experience to maintain and repair trucks, diesel equipment, and snow removal gear. You will work to keep equipment in top condition for reliable operations across our service areas.

The ideal candidate should bring strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform in a field service environment. Travel locally for field calls and availability for overtime during snow events are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Technical educational training in Mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and snow removal equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime during snow events.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and electrical systems, including plows and salt spreaders.
• Conduct emergency field service repairs as needed during snow operations.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and modifications to equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety requirements.
• Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support snow operations.
