Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, a part of DeAngelo Contracting Services, seeks a skilled full-time Diesel Mechanic with snowplow experience to maintain and repair trucks, diesel equipment, and snow removal machinery.

Ideal candidates bring strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, welding experience, and the ability to travel locally for field service calls; Class B CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Technical educational training in Mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience repairing heavy trucks (diesel and gas).
• Welding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and snow removal equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime during snow events.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and electrical systems, including plows, salt spreaders, and related attachments.
• Conduct emergency field service repairs as needed during snow operations.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and modifications to equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety requirements.
• Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean and safe.
