Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; diesel tech training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
• 5 years of related experience in a heavy-duty shop/service operation.
• Experience managing technicians.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and carry weight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Main shop contact for service advisors.
• Maintain good customer relations by providing detailed communications to service advisors and customers as needed.
• Optimal dispatch of jobs to technicians based on expertise, ability and capacity.
• Ensure proper warranty procedures are followed.
• Assist in completing necessary and accurate documentation on repair orders.
• Comply with federal and state vehicle regulations and standards through ongoing education and training.
• Enforce dealership policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to dealership information.
• Other duties as assigned.
