Responsibilities

• Be trained or qualified for the work you are assigned to.
• Perform work safely and maintain quality control at all times.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and orderly job site.
• Follow established policies, including timekeeping procedures.
• Know emergency and evacuation procedures and muster locations.
• Wear required PPE for assigned work.
• Navigate a ship and understand compartment designation.
• Have basic knowledge of math.
• Follow directions from a lead mechanic.
• Other duties as assigned.
