Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity and steady hand with good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and test components.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer competencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair orders on diesel vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional needs.
