Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to service customer vehicles and equipment while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves cleaning, maintenance, inspection, parts removal and reconditioning with manuals guidance, and requires at least three years of fleet, dealership, and/or technical school experience.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (ASE certification preferred) and a CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fleet or dealership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders and observe vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure critical parts are examined.
• Inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay updated on factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
