Diesel Service Technician (Stephenville, TX)

Vander Haag’s has a great opportunity for experienced Diesel Service Technicians to join our shop in Stephenville, TX!

Job Overview

Our technicians perform a variety of mechanical work including preventive maintenance, service work, parts repair and replacement, driveline diagnostics, troubleshooting, and more.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on heavy‑duty diesel engines.
• Perform routine service work and component repairs.
• Replace parts and perform overhaul work as needed.
• Diagnose driveline and engine issues using modern diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Hours

• Day shift hours, 40 hours/week.
• Work 8‑hour shifts Monday through Friday.
• No night shift, weekends, holidays, or on‑call schedule required.

Compensation

This position pays a very competitive hourly wage plus monthly bonus opportunities. Base pay is dependent on qualifications and experience level.
