Black Automotive Group in Statesville, NC, seeks a Diesel Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles, including performing Digital MPI inspections with videos and pictures.

The role requires ASE certifications, OEM dealer experience, electrical knowledge, and strong problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Experience with a OEM certified dealer.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and ability to read schematics.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Professionalism and politeness to staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs including accurate diagnostics.
• Complete Digital MPI Inspections with videos and pictures.
• Complete warranty repairs and maintenance in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with staff regarding vehicle repair status.
• Stay up-to-date with required OEM training.
• Stay active in the shop and work proficiently to complete vehicles for our customers in the expected repair time window.
