Responsibilities include handling repair orders, communicating with the Shop Foreman, maintaining workmanship standards, and training apprentices; applicants should have five years of heavy-duty truck repair experience and a HS diploma, with CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a heavy-duty truck repair technician with emphasis on engine repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License preferred and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receives repair order assignments from Service Manager/Foreman.
• Follows instructions and executes work thoroughly and efficiently.
• Maintains superior workmanship across all services performed.
• Advises Shop Foreman of recommended changes in services.
• Determines further repairs or servicing and communicates with the Shop Foreman.
• Maintains training and experience with equipment and servicing techniques.
• Attends required training sessions.
• Performs additional repairs as needed and documents work performed.
• Follow warranty vendor guidelines and keep service desk informed.
