Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt in Georgia seeks an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join our team. This role performs diagnostic and heavy‑duty repairs with minimal supervision, while maintaining safety standards and helping train junior technicians.

You will work on Peterbilt equipment, document repairs and parts, and follow company procedures. A Class A CDL is required or obtainable, and your MVR must meet company guidelines. Opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade schooling preferred.
• CDL Class A is required or obtainable; MVR must meet guidelines.
• Experience in related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs on heavy‑duty trucks.
• Train new technicians and communicate needs to Service Foreman.
• Document repairs, parts used, and test results; ensure safety.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to company policies.
